/ May 11, 2016Hello Mr. Andrew wiliams beg me to answer because I have to deal with major problems. I will reply to the question whether, according to the tables and information that you’ve published, can I calculate this indicator? If you take the time to share. I am doing research in Iran should I calculate the index. In fact, your article is the base of my research. I beg teach me how to calculate the index.
Andrew Williams
/ May 11, 2016Hi Esmet, all the information on putting together the indicators are contained in the paper. Unfortunately, I’m afraid I really don’t have time at the moment to work on this.

/ May 12, 2016Hello Mr. Andrew Williams I do not mean to disturb, I understand you .I want to ask you created the index for countries, can be used separately for each country?Because my research is only related to Iran, other countries are not included.I ask please, explain how the indexes. I put a lot of time, but the result missed. I beg to explain how their indicators step by step. Otherwise there is a big problem in my studies.
Once again, I beg of you please help me،please
Andrew Williams
/ May 13, 2016The information on how to do this is contained in the paper. But no, you need to have data for all (available) countries to extend this past 2010, because each indicator is first normalised (0-100 scale), then standardised with respect to the base year of 1980. Using the raw numbers for a single country therefore won’t work.
esmat khorramdel
/ May 13, 2016Mr. Andrew williams if I want to examine the impact of transparency on the growth of the country iran, can I use an index that you have calculated? Or that the results are not credit?Or similar to your research, be considered in all countries (available) together, the results are worthwhile?(Personally, I do not calculate the index, the index has been calculated in your research،I use to evaluate the effect of transparency on economic growth in Iran)
Andrew Williams
/ May 13, 2016If you want, you could use the Release of Information index (also available on my website here). You can use either of these for an individual country across time, that is fine. Or, try the HRV Index from Hollyer et al, which they have recently released. It is similar to the Release of Information index.

/ May 13, 2016Thank you very much Mr. Andrew Williams. What is the name of the article you mentioned?(Hollyer et al)
